The team at Sarah Hurley designs has been beavering away for months now to put together the latest issue of the Lookbook and its an absolute cracker. I have quite a few projects in this one and each one I've been so very very proud of. I have several mini books in there and I'll be showing them here on my blog over the coming weeks.
One of my favourites is an altered book which I found in the recycling center. It was an old algebra book with hard covers and after cutting out and keeping the pages I glued several together to make thicker pages to work from. I then filled it with found ephemera and papers and elements from Sarah's Curio collection. I tried to be imaginative about what I printed the kit onto and used acetate and Kraft card. I layered stuff together and blended the printed elements with the found items to give it all a cohesive look.
At the top of my blog I've opened a new page which will take you directly to the Lookbook where you can see all the amazing projects and inspiration from the whole team. So sit back with a cup of tea and a biscuit and have a look.
