The theme for the hop is 2012 Favourites and although it was a hard one to try and pick one favourite thing from last year, there was one event which really stood out for me.
I attended my first weekend retreat at Scrapbook Werkstatt in Germany taking classes by Amy Tangerine and Donna Downey to name but two but the project which gave me the most satisfaction was a mixed media mini album (everything I love) workshop by Felicitas Mayer-Klink and Janna Werner. I loved putting it together
Here's my mini in all it's inky, painty, stampy goodness....
I do hope you don't get bored with all these pictures. The cover is a piece of cotton calico, painted with acrylic paint to give it ridgidity so I could stamp the Tim Holtz frame stamp onto it with a Stazon ink pad. I could then also add papers and letter and still add fancy stitching on the machine. The butterfly stamps are by My Stamp Box and are being offered as a prize here on my blog.
That little butterfly there has been stamped on some cotton and sandwiched in between two pieces of netting along with a few sequins. It makes a cute page.
Now I know you'll be itching to move on so firstly the letter you'll be collecting from me is G.
My spot prize is a stamp set from My Stamp Box which I've used in my mini throughout worth $15.99!
To be in with a chance of winning simply leave a comment on this blog post by midnight on Friday 8th February 2013. The winner will be drawn at random week commencing Mon 11th February
Now you can go to the next blog on the hop which is the very talented Sara Naumann
Happy Hopping
