At the beginning of the year I was introduced to Project life and this style of scrapping really made me think, yeah I can do that! I was all 'gung-ho' for a little while but then the novalty wore off a bit and I left it alone. The thing was, as usual I was over thinking the whole concept and trying to make life difficult for myself. I've never been much of a 12x12 scrapper, preferring to do things on a smaller scale, project life seemed to be the answer but I was trying to keep a photo record of every single day. Erm...hello....you just don't photograph every single thing on every single day, do you?
I recently took it up again, especially as Sarah Hurley was bringing out more PL compatible papers and stuff and found if I did things my way and not the expected way I was much happier.
So here's a look at a few pages I managed to do recently using papers and embellishments all by Sarah Hurley.
This cute balsa wood frame came in one of the Kit club boxes.
and this film strip is from the Say Cheese digi kit, printed out onto some sticker sheet.
This weekend Sarah is re-launching the Documented 365 range which is one of my favourites plus this months Kit club is up to buy now but hurry as there aren't a lot left and I know it's cool because I designed one of the stamps :)
