The biggest shocker though was when my hubby cut the grass and found an actual well in the middle of the lawn!! Seriously, hidden for about 40 years! It's amazing no-one fell down it years ago!!
Amongst the stuff there were some absolute treasures and I have my own little squirrel pile of ephemera and bits to keep me happy for a while in my journals and albums.
We arrived home on friday with the car loaded up with the family heirlooms and memorabelia along with bits out of the house that we wanted to hang on to. I have managed to find room for it all thank you, just don't open the cupboards! This is a pic of just the trunk of family heirlooms in the car :)
Then saturday I spent the night in Brussels for the concert of concerts - Robbie Williams no less! What a show, fantastic.
It's now back down to earth again after that lot and while I was away the latest Sarah Hurley challenge kicked off and this time it's Texture and Dimension.
For my piece I created this little card using my very own stamps Beside the Seaside. The texture was made using a Sizzix Alterations texture fade folder (which I know is no longer available but I know there's an even better one coming out later this year - follow my link), and the dimension is the rosette, also a Sizzix Alterations die called Rosette.
I also had some new stamp sets launched while I was in UK which you can buy now in Sarah's shop.
I absolutely love them and I hope you will too.
Hope you're having a good summer so far,
